Archival and Manuscript Collections

This database provides access to finding aids for archival collections from four units of the University Libraries: University Archives, The Poetry Collection, the Music Library, and the Law Library. A sampling of finding aids from other regional institutions, including the Buffalo History Museum, the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, SUNY Fredonia, and the Lockport Public Library is also included.

The database does not represent all archival collections in the University Libraries. It is necessary to check the University Libraries’ Catalog to locate collections that have been processed but not yet converted to electronic format. Links to digital materials can be found in many of the collections but the majority of the materials have not been digitized. They are available at the specific holding repository.
