Water Shutdown Rescheduled for Tuesday, July 8 (p.m.)

The O'Brian Hall water shutdown originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, has been rescheduled. 

The water shutdown will take place from Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 6:00 a.m.

Water shutdown rescheduled for Tuesday, July 8

A water shutdown is scheduled for O'Brian Hall on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 6:00 a.m.

DO NOT use the restrooms in O'Brian Hall as they will not be functional after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Please use the closest functional restrooms, which are located in Baldy Hall.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your continued patience as the on-campus construction projects continue to move forward.

As long as the Law Library is closed for a few days, why not spend some time at home refreshing your research skills?  The Suffolke University Law School Legal Practice Skills Program has released a nineteen-part series, "Transitioning from One-L to Summer Legal Work."  Presented by a nationwide group of legal research and writing instructors, the series covers topics ranging from "Cost Effective Legal Research Skills" to "Successfully Navigating the Summer Associate Social Scene."

Law Library to be closed May 28-June 1

sign image As part of the ongoing roof construction project, the Law Library will be closed from Wednesday, May 28, through Friday, May 30. The Library is not open on weekends during the summer, so the closure will continue through Sunday, June 1. The Law Library will re-open for normal operations on Monday, June 2nd.

(Please note that the Library is also closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th. So Tuesday, May 27, will be the only "open" day of this particular week.)

Strict Construction at the Law School

cautionDue to the ongoing O'Brian roof repair project, noise levels and comfort in the Law Library may vary throughout Summer 2008. It may even be necessary to close the Library on some days.

Law Library Access Limited During Exam Period

Access to the Law Library will be limited to law students, law faculty, and law school staff from Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 16.  Researchers who require use of law library materials during this period may be admitted at the front door, on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of the Law Library staff.  Contact the Law Library Reference Desk at 645-2047 for further information.
