UB File Space
(effective November 2007)
If you are a UB File Space user, please note that because the UB file storage system has been relocated, the UBFS-Home software no longer works. To get to your UB File Space you will need to map a drive to: \\itorg.ad.buffalo.edu\ubfs\myfiles\1st_letter_ubitname\2nd_letter_ubitname\UBITName
To map a drive in Windows,
- right-click the My Computer icon and choose Map network drive.
- from the Drive box, select any available drive from the pull down box.
- in the Folder box, type: \\itorg.ad.buffalo.edu\ubfs\myfiles\1st_letter_ubitname\2nd_letter_ubitname\UBITName
(For example, for my drive it would be: \\itorg.ad.buffalo.edu\ubfs\myfiles\l\h\lhartman) - Choose whether you want to reconnect each time you logon to your computer, and
- press OK.
If you have any questions or need help with this, please call Network Support at:
- North Campus: 645-5948
- South Campus: 829-3900 ext. 114
