The Libraries Development Committee (LDC) determines major areas of program focus; organizes and oversees fund-raising, donor identification, cultivation, and recognition; and fosters campus and community partnerships. Specific activities include the following:

Membership

The Libraries Development Committee (LDC) is chaired by the Director of Communication & Development.  Members are the Directors of Special Collections, Health Sciences Library, Law Library, Technical Services, and the Curator of The Poetry Collection. The Acting Associate Vice President for University Libraries is an ex-officio member.

 

Meetings

The Libraries Development Committee (LDC) meets on the second Monday of each month. Dates are subject to change. Contact Judy Adams-Volpe, Chair, at adamsj@buffalo.edu to confirm the meeting schedule. Meeting notes are posted to the website routinely.
