APT governance documents
The Committee on Appointment, Promotion and Tenure (APT), an elected, standing committee of the Faculty of the University Libraries, exists in accordance with the:
- Policies
of the Board of Trustees of the State University of New York
and
the - Bylaws of the Faculty of the University
Libraries (Bylaws)
.
The general duties and obligations of the APT Committee are described in the Bylaws.
The Standing Rules of the APT express the Committee's understanding of existing policies and are the ground rules under which it acts. The Standing Rules are used in conjunction with the guidelines set forth in the:
