The University Libraries Collections Report 2006 was prepared at the request of Steve Roberts, Acting Associate Vice President for University Libraries, by the Libraries Collections Committee, a system-wide group of senior collection development librarians chaired by H. Austin Booth, Director, Collections, University Libraries.
In summary, the University Libraries Collections Report 2006
- outlines important trends in the collection and access practices of research libraries,
- summarizes the state of the University at Buffalo Libraries’ collections,
- compares UB collections to those of our peers, and
- recommends future collection and access strategies that the University Libraries can employ to improve its collections and services to faculty and students.
