A University Libraries fundraising project to support the University at Buffalo United Way SEFA campaign

The Staff Development & Training Committee (SDTC) is pleased to invite you to a library-wide event to benefit the 2008 SEFA campaign. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to SEFA.

WHAT: Passport to Great Foods

WHEN: Monday, October 27, 2008, Noon - 2 p.m.

WHERE: Lockwood Staff Lounge (basement)

Library staff are invited to be chefs or diners -- or both!

CALLING ALL CHEFS: Contribute to University Libraries' culinary world by creating a dish for other staff members to sample. You can showcase one of your favorite recipes and share a "taste of the libraries". The dish can be anything from a favorite dip or cookie to a main dish. Samples will be just that--samples. No one needs to cook for over 150 people. (Sample size containers and cutlery will be provided.) Sign up to cook here. Deadline for cooking signup: October 20, 2008.

CALLING ALL APPETITES: Buy a "passport" to travel this world of gustatory delights, sampling the the treats prepared by your co-workers. Your passport will include a ballot to vote for your favorite dish and the winning chef will receive a prize. You can pre-register for a passport for $5 or purchase at the door for $6. All who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for a great prize.

All proceeds will benefit SEFA. A 50/50 raffle will also be held.

Questions about the event can be addressed to Susan Prefontaine, Chair, or to any member of the Staff Development & Training Committee.
