Description: Part of the Harvard University Open Collections Program, Women Working, 1800-1930, focuses on women's roles in the United States economy and provides access to digitized historical, manuscript and image resources selected from the Harvard University's library and museum collections. Approximately 500,000 digitized pages and images are featured including those from books, pamphlets, manuscripts and photographs.

This collection is searchable by terms or phrases, or browsable by format or subject. Also included is a Teacher Resources section organized to highlight themes commonly taught in social studies and history classes.
