OpenDOAR  Directory of Open Access Repositories

This database is freely available to the general public via the Internet.

OpenDOAR is an authoritative directory of academic open access repositories. Each of these repositories collects, preserves, and disseminates the intellectual output of an institution via the Internet. Materials in a given repository can contain virtually any electronic file including article preprints and postprints, theses and dissertations, course notes, data and image collections, technical reports, and working documents.

As well as providing a simple list of repositories, Open DOAR lets one search for repositories or search documents in all repositories contents with a single query (metasearch). The directory list allows selection of repositories by a variety of criteria - see the Find page - which can also be viewed as statistical charts. A list of Upgrades and Additions is available.
