The Eleventh Annual Bonnie Bullough Lecture will be on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. in the Gerald S. & Sandra F. Lippes Concert Hall which is located in Slee Hall on the North Campus. The speaker is Jessie Gruman, President of the Center for the Advancement of Health in Washington, DC. The title of her lecture is "Nursing at the Nexus: Opportunities Now."

Dr. Gruman is the author of numerous articles and essays published in the scholarly and public media. HSL owns her book for the general public, After Shock: What to Do When the Doctor Gives You - or Someone You Love - a Devastating Diagnosis. It is about how people use scientific information to make decisions about their healthcare.

Joint Commission - new interactive forum

WikiHealthCare is a Joint Commission-sponsored wiki application. Unlike Wikipedia (which is an encyclopedia), the purpose of WikiHealthCare is to foster collaboration among tens of thousands and in due course of time millions of health care professionals. You can participate!
