Library of Congress Classification System

The University at Buffalo Libraries use the Library of Congress Classification System which organizes materials in libraries according to 21 branches of knowledge. The categories labeled A to Z (missing I, O, W, X, Y) are further divided by adding one or two additional letters and a set of numbers. The following is an abridged listing of subjects.
