IMPORTANT: Non-bibliographic citation databases generally are excluded from this listing. This table assumes basic knowledge of EndNote and internet browser operations. Connection Files for UB subscription databases WILL NOT work when your are off the UB computing network.

Database Saving & Importing Notes
  Hapi Online In Hapi Online: Mark desired records. At the top of the page, click on 'View Marked List'. Click on 'Download Record'. Then click on 'Export Marked List as an XML File to import into EndNote', and Save the file as an XML document.
In Endnote: Click on 'File: Import' to import saved text file using 'EndNote generated XML' filter.

In Endnote: Must manually input citation in EndNote.

  Health and Psychological Instruments In Health and Psychological Instruments: Select references. In Reference Manager at bottom of results, choose 'Fields' desired and choose 'Direct Export' under Result Format. Then choose 'Save' under 'Actions'. Make sure 'Export results to Endnote, Procite, or Reference Manager' radio button is selected. Click 'Continue'. Choose desired EndNote library and click on 'Open'.
In Endnote: Exports directly into EndNote.

  Health Reference Center-Academic In Health Reference Center-Academic: Select references. Click on 'Marked Items' icon upper left of page. Click on 'Citation Tools' upper left of page. Choose 'EndNote' radio button, then 'Export' button, then 'Open'. Choose desired EndNote library and click on 'Open'.
In Endnote: Exports directly into EndNote.

  Historical Abstracts (ABC - CLIO) In Historical Abstracts (ABC - CLIO): Tag references. At the top of the screen, click on 'Export Options'; choose 'Full Entry' in Output Options; choose 'Personal List' in Request Entries Options, and 'EndNote' in Output Type. Click on 'Export Records' or 'Send'. Click on 'Export to Citation Manager' and select EndNote.
In Endnote: Exports directly into EndNote.
