IMPORTANT: Non-bibliographic citation databases generally are excluded from this listing. This table assumes basic knowledge of EndNote and internet browser operations. Connection Files for UB subscription databases WILL NOT work when your are off the UB computing network.

Database Saving & Importing Notes
  Factiva In Factiva: Select desired articles by clicking on the checkbox to the left of each article. Ensurethat the setting in the 'View as' box is Full Article/Report plus Indexing, otherwise the records will not be saved in the correct format for importing. Click on 'Format for Saving' Select 'Save As' from the File menu in your browser frame. Save as type: Text File (*.txt) and click on Save
In Endnote: select the 'File' menu, then select 'Import' Click on 'Choose File' and select the file you just saved. Select the Factiva filter in the 'Import Option' section. Click on 'Import' and the references will load into EndNote

  Faculty of 1000 Biology/Medicine In Faculty of 1000 Biology/Medicine: Select desired references. Click on 'Send' button (note that 'Endnote' is default option). Click 'Open'.
In Endnote: Exports directly into EndNote.
