Databases

Ovid MEDLINE
Produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE is the premier database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and the pre-clinical sciences, indexing over 4000 journals from around the world.

PubMed
The National Library of Medicine produces MEDLINE, the premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. PubMed provides free access to all MEDLINE citations; in-process citations, out-of-scope citations from MEDLINE journals, and more.

Web of Science
Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Searching for cited references often locates relevant articles that cannot be found through traditional searching techniques.

MathSciNet
Searchable Web database providing access to over 60 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications. It is produced by the American Mathematical Society. Mathematical Reviews provides timely reviews or summaries of articles and books that contain new contributions to mathematical research.

JSTOR
Contains the full text, in facsimile form, of the complete back files of important scholarly journals, generally from the first volume through issues published prior to the most recent three years. Current issues are not available. JSTOR is a consortium of approximately 1,800 participating academic institutions, including the University at Buffalo.

Science Direct
Full-text articles available in both facsimile and hypertext formats. Coverage focuses on science and medicine, with some coverage of social sciences and humanities (particularly management, economics, psychology, and linguistics.) Browse specific journals or search across all titles in the collection.
