The Law Library is currently displaying an exhibit In Memoriam of Virginia A. Leary, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Law, “scholar, teacher, activist, and cherished friend.” The exhibit is located in the cases near the main entrance of the Law Library, on the second floor of O’Brian Hall. Materials on display include Professor Leary’s biography and bibliography and tributes to her life and many accomplishments.

I worked for Prof. Leary as her secretary in the Law School from 1979 to 1981 and was greatly inspired by her. She had a gentle demeanor, kind heart, and loving spirit.
