Fashion at the Law Library

Posted on: | by |

Back in June, the librarians at the New York Public Library announced via a Wall Street Journal story ( “Work Wear: Office Style at the New York Public Library”) that their ranks weren’t filled with “just ladies in sensible shoes and wool cardigans.” At the NYPL “office style ranges from bookish to whimsical.” Flip through the photos and you might think that the NYPL librarians use the aisles between stacks as a runway.

We at the Charles B. Sears Law Library tip our hat to the NYPL librarians and present our own expression of styles. Be sure to stop by the “Fashion at the Law Library” display outside of the law library and check it out. Photos were taken by Nefeli Soteriou and each librarian provided his or her fashion philosophy. Glance over the display and you’ll find each librarian has a unique style and there’s not a cardigan in sight. Well, alright, maybe one cardigan…
