Online access to many of Elsevier Science’s journals for the years 1997-present.

    Wiley Online Library
Full-text of the 400+ journals published by Wiley, including many in the sciences, for the years 1997-present.

    BISON
If we don’t have access to the journal you need online or our online coverage does not include the article you need, search BISON to check for its availability at UB in print.  When searching BISON for a journal, click on the Journals button above the search box, then type in the name of the journal. If we have the journal, you will get a title listing for it.  Click on the journal title to get location and call number information.  Note:  Some of the older runs of our print journals are now stored at the Annex.  See the guide below for information on how to get copies of articles from those.

    ILLiad
If UB doesn’t have access to the journal you need in print or online, we will try to get a copy of the article you need from another library using the InterLibrary Loan option in ILLiad. Once connected, click on Log-on, then click on New User to register and begin making your journal article requests.

    Books

    BISON
To search for both print and electronic books, use BISON.  Click on the title of a book; then click where it says CHECK AVAILABILITY to find out whether the book is checked out or not. If it is an electronic book, click on the INTERNET LINK to connect to it online. To limit your search in BISON to just electronic books, click on the e-books button above the search box before doing your search.

    ILLiad
If UB doesn’t own the book you need, we will try to borrow it for you from one of the many libraries with which we have reciprocal borrowing arrangements. To request a book (there is no fee), use the InterLibrary Loan option in ILLiad.  Once connected, click on Log-on, then click on New User to register and begin making your book requests.

    Properties Data

    Knovel E-Books: Science and Engineering
