IET Digital Library

The IET Digital Library at will be offline for most of the day on Saturday March 25th, 2017 beginning at 3:00 am Eastern Daylight Time. Visitors to the Digital Library site will see an informational message to this effect and will not be able to access the site. This message will stay up for the duration of time that the platform is not accessible.

This downtime is due to an important system upgrade. Service is expected to be restored – at the latest – early morning of Sunday March 26th 2017.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this downtime may cause.

Classic Catalog Outage

The Classic Catalog will be unavailable on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00AM – 6:30AM for system maintenance.

The Library Catalog will be available. However, item and circulation information will not display during this time. Course Reserve lists also will not display during this outage.

All Libraries Open – March 15th

The University at Buffalo Libraries are open and following their regular operational schedules for Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Please use caution when traveling to and from campus during inclement weather. Check departmental websites for any specific changes to public events.

Weather Alert – Libraries Closed March 14th

Due to the inclement weather conditions, the Silverman Library will close at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14th.

All the UB libraries will be closed for the entire day on Tuesday, March 14th.

The Silverman Library will reopen on Wednesday, March 15th at 8:00 a.m. weather permitting.  All other libraries are scheduled to open at their usual times Wednesday morning, conditions permitting.
