Professors and Their Pets

Last update on: | 1 Comment

The librarians at Lockwood are planning an exhibit, and UB faculty are invited to help. The exhibit, Professors and Their Pets, will coincide with the Libraries’ Stress Relief Days, planned for Lockwood Library and the Health Sciences Library December 8, 9 and 10th. The exhibit showcasing professorial pets will open on December 1, 2014 in the Lockwood lobby.

What we need:

  • One digital photo of you and your pet, or just your pet (300dpi preferred but we can accept lower resolutions)
  • A brief description of your pet (maximum 100 words)

Biff (2)“This is Biff. He came from the Buffalo City Animal Shelter in 2003. Biff enjoys sleeping, staring at birds, chicken liver pâté, and running around the house at top speeds in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Biff lives with librarian Molly Poremski.”

If you’d like your furry (or not so furry, as the case may be) friend included in Lockwood Library’s exhibit, please email the photo and description to Molly Poremski, by November 10, 2014.

Please note: for promotion of the exhibit, we may use your photo on the UB Libraries’ social media. If you’d like to opt out of that, just let us know when you submit your photo.

Thanks for considering!
