Call for Authors: Open SUNY Textbooks

Last update on: |

Open SUNY textbooksThe Open SUNY Textbooks program is seeking authors interested in writing an open textbook. We invite you to consider submitting a brief proposal by January 31, 2014 to publish your textbook. If selected, you will receive an award of $3,000 upon the completion of all work.

The program offers copy editing, and some graphic and instructional design support at no cost. All Open SUNY Textbooks are published online and made freely available at the Open SUNY Textbooks website. Authors are also eligible to earn royalties on the sales of an optional print-on-demand edition of their textbook (some support for print-on-demand publishing is available, upon request).
