Lockwood Memorial Library now provides International Leisure Reading Collections of fiction and non-fiction books in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Each language collection is comprised of 25 books, and they are all conveniently located in the entrance lobby of Lockwood Memorial Library near the Graphic Novels display. Students, faculty, and members of the UB community can borrow books from these collections. If these Asian language collections prove popular here, other language collections will be considered by the UB Libraries. Each set is carefully selected to include best sellers, selected classics, and highly anticipated new releases that have wide appeal. The Libraries hope these collections will address a need for leisure/casual reading materials for our international population and also for those who may wish to augment language skills through reading popular books.
