Iggers (George G.) Papers

The collection contains correspondence, course files, and class registers of Dr. Georg G. Iggers. The bulk of the material dates from his time at the University at Buffalo. Series I contains correspondence from the years 1955-1984 (bulk 1967-1984). Series II consists of correspondence between the years 1985-2007 (bulk 1985-1999). The correspondence includes letters from graduate students, professional colleagues, publishers, and organizations, filed alphabetically by name of correspondent or subject (e.g. Philander Smith College or Grants). It also includes both incoming letters and carbon copies or handwritten drafts of letters by Iggers. Folders labeled “Annual Report (family)” contain Iggers family newsletters. Series III consists of course files and class registers from the years 1959-1998

The Iris was the first general student yearbook.  The Iris was published from 1898-1907 and 1920-1932.  It was succeeded by the Buffalonian yearbook.

Irwin (Bertha Nax) Photographs, 1937-1939

Irwin gradated with the Class of 1939 from Arts and Sciences. Photographs, 1937-1939, kept by Bertha Nax Irwin, of student life at the University of Buffalo, including members and activities of Cap and Gown, Phi Psi, the Men's and Women's Glee Clubs, and graduation.
